Job Summary:
As a Crate Builder on the Night Shift, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations, constructing and assembling high-quality wooden crates and containers to support our packing and shipping services. Your attention to detail, carpentry skills, and dedication to quality will be essential in ensuring the safe and secure transportation of our clients' goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and assemble wooden crates and containers according to specifications
- Operate power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and join wood materials
- Inspect completed crates and containers for quality and structural integrity
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain efficient workflow and meet deadlines
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications:
- Experience in shop, construction, or carpentry work
- Proficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications- Ability to read a tape measure
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Willingness to work a non-traditional night shift schedule
Working Conditions:
This position involves working in a manufacturing environment, with exposure to power tools, machinery, and physical labor. The work schedule is a night shift, and the position may require occasional overtime to meet production demands. Protective equipment, such as safety glasses and gloves, will be provided.
