The RoleDirects and coordinates activities of the warehouse receiving personnel; verifies and keeps records on incoming material according to the needs of the schedule and production departments by performing the following duties.

What you will be responsible for:
- Coordinate the activities of the material receiving process according to the company procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, department supervisors, shipping coordinator and key people on open receiving, completed receiving, non-deliveries and discrepancies of materials.
- Coordinate the proper and accurate counting, examination and recording of materials both incoming and outgoing of the warehouse facilities.
- Work closely with the QC department personnel to ensure proper inspection and certification of materials.
- Assist in the staging and issuing of materials to destination areas.
- Must have computer skills to cross-train in all areas of the shipping and warehouse departments.
- Provide leadership in the organization and location of materials to enhance material flow under the direction of the supervisor.
- Develops and strengthens computer skills to effectively utilize the M2M and MS Office systems.
- Communicate effectively with purchasing department and other key personnel on receiving requirements and issues.
- Maintain housekeeping, safety and department organization.
- Convey materials from storage or work site to designed area.
- Secure lifting attachments to raw materials, mechanicals, etc and conveys load to destination or signals crane, hoisting or forklift operators to move load to destination.
- Attach identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, crates or other containers.
- Unload and load trucks with industrial fork truck and /or assist with moving materials and products.
- Stack or assemble materials into bundles or loads and safely transports to destination.
- Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist and cleans work area, and equipment.
- Provide proper and accurate record keeping books and/or ledgers of required information.
- Provide reliable information and follow up during monthly inventory counts.
- Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site, ability to work overtime.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Kelvion’s policies, procedures and applicable laws.
- Must demonstrate and exhibit professional qualities when speaking with employees, whether in a one-on-one scenario or a group setting.
- Responsibilities, as assigned by the Department Manager, will include planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Must meet the standards to drive the forklift
- Leadmen will be on the floor providing supervision and working with material/product 80% of time, 20% office duty.
- Routine trouble shooting and problem solving, including finding ways of improvement for long-term solution.
- Encourage continuous idea generation from team members for continuous process improvement in cost, time, and safety.
- Ensure 5S (workplace organization method in the area with good housekeeping manner) is being applied on a daily basis.
- Ensure all equipment is up to date and within the standards needed.
- Follow updated schedules to meet ship dates provided by management.
- Strong attention to detail, organization skill, and communication skill.
- Prioritize tasks in a self-directed and time-managed manner.
- Monitor quality in accordance with the company ISO Quality Plan.
- Some personal computer skills including electronic mail, recordkeeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. beneficial, but not required.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment required.
