Job Summary
As the Production Control Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the seamless coordination of our manufacturing and logistics operations. Leveraging your expertise in production planning, inventory management, and material control, you will ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of our products to our valued customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement production schedules and inventory control strategies to optimize workflow and minimize downtime
- Oversee the operation of CNC machinery and other equipment to maintain quality and productivity standards
- Manage the receiving, storage, and distribution of raw materials, components, and finished goods
- Coordinate with the shipping and receiving teams to ensure the timely and accurate fulfillment of customer orders
- Analyze production data and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and procurement, to address challenges and implement process enhancements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a production control or inventory management role within a manufacturing environment
- Proficient in the use of CNC machinery, forklift operation, and inventory control software
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with teams across the organization
Working Conditions
This position involves a mix of administrative and hands-on responsibilities within a fast-paced manufacturing and warehouse setting. The work environment may include exposure to machinery, noise, and physical demands such as standing, lifting, and moving materials.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range $80,000-$95,000 depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
