Job Summary
As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in our Accounting department, responsible for managing procurement, vendor relationships, and cost analysis to support our manufacturing operations. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will leverage your financial acumen and strategic negotiation skills to secure the best value for the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to obtain favorable pricing and terms
- Analyze purchase requisitions, vendor quotes, and historical data to make informed buying decisions
- Monitor inventory levels and work with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Collaborate with Accounting and Finance teams to maintain accurate budgets and cost records
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors to foster long-term partnerships
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a Buyer or Purchasing Analyst role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and cost management
- Excellent negotiation and communication abilities
- Familiarity with procurement best practices and supply chain management
Working Conditions
This position is based in an office environment  The work schedule is typically Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4PM.
Compensation and Benefits
The target pay rate for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
