Job Summary:
As a CNC Saw Operator, you will play a crucial role in our production team, operating state-of-the-art computer numerical control (CNC) saws to cut materials with precision and accuracy. Your technical expertise and attention to detail will be essential in ensuring the efficient and safe processing of materials for our specialized packaging and shipping operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC saws to cut wood materials,to specific dimensions and tolerances
- Perform regular maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Use measuring tools, such as micrometers and calipers, to verify the accuracy of cuts and dimensions
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure the timely and efficient processing of materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience operating CNC saws or other similar industrial equipment
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or certification preferred
- Familiarity with shop tools and equipment, including grinders and measuring devices
Working Conditions:
This position is based in a fast-paced, industrial shop environment. The work schedule may include shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed to meet production demands. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in a climate-controlled environment with some exposure to noise, dust, and vibrations.
