Job Summary
As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying specialized coatings and finishes to a variety of industrial equipment, machinery, and facilities. Using your expertise in techniques like bead/box blasting and sandblasting, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the appearance and protection of our clients' assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting using bead/box blasting, sandblasting, and other surface preparation methods
- Apply industrial-grade paints, coatings, and finishes to equipment, machinery, and facilities
- Operate and maintain specialized painting equipment and tools
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest quality standards
- Collaborate with the production team to coordinate painting schedules and priorities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as an Industrial Painter or in a similar role
- Proficiency in bead/box blasting, sandblasting, and other surface preparation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent
Working Conditions
This position is based in an industrial manufacturing facility. The work environment may involve exposure to fumes, dust, and other hazards associated with painting and surface preparation. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy equipment, and work a flexible schedule to accommodate production needs.
