Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLEThe Production Supervisor is responsible for assisting in all areas of daily operations.
2nd shift position.5p-3:30a.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES •Analyze setup time and ensure accuracy, review labor hours, and meet production control schedules• Define expected production standards and monitor performance standards of assigned personnel•Provide leadership and direction to the plant production team members in areas of safety, machine operation, sanitation, quality, customer service and maintenance.•Maintain a clear understanding of company expectations for accuracy, quality and timelessness and develop methods for meeting or exceeding those expectations.•Review production orders or schedules to ascertain product data such as types, quantities, and specifications of products and scheduled delivery dates to plan department operations.•Ensure that quality standards are maintained and continually improved upon.•Implement continuous improvement processes that increase productivity and reduce production costs.•Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the plant with a high standard on housekeeping. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR• At least 5 years of applicable experience with progressive responsibility in a manufacturing production environment• A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment• A minimum of two (2) years of direct supervisory experience.• Experience and Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal• Problem analysis and resolution.
