Construction Manager
Job Description
This position is responsible for executing the demolition and site preparation construction activities
Manage Onsite Construction Activities (Vendor scheduling, Change Management, EHSstandards, LOTO, etc.)
Troubleshoot and manage repair projects.
Commission new systems
Prepare progress and budget adherence reports
Maintain the facility’s cleanliness in accordance with established visual and lean methods
Who we are looking for
Education:
BS degree in Construction Management or Engineering
Work Experience:
Minimum of 10 years of experience
Construction Management
Knowledge of Relevant Standards – NFPA, OSHA, ISO
Computer skills: Office, SAP
Competencies:
Good written and verbal communication skills
The ability to interact with various levels of people within the Plant and Contractors
Resourcefulness
High stress tolerance
Conflict resolution skills
Good level of communication and negotiation skills
Strong leader
Outcome focused, when balancing a number of priorities
High regard to Health and Safety
