Material Handler
Job Description
Summary
Works with both managers and production employees to ensure Material and tooling are available for operations. Assists in organization and staging of material and products to increase production efficiency.
Primary Duties Support production activities to improve efficiency while maintaining timely delivery, Work with the materials department to reduce inventory levels. Support production control activity with the movement of work orders and material Optimize scheduling of manufacturing processes and resources.
Other Duties as Assigned
Qualifications
Understanding of operational flow
Strong verbal communications and interpersonal skills
Good team player / Flexible
Excellent organizational skills
computer skills (Microsoft office) a plus
Experience with Epicor preferred
Requirements Minimum 1 years’ experience in a relevant industry Forklift experience Inventory knowledge
Physical Requirements/Work Environment Ability to move through facility and up and down stairs Ability to lift 40 lbs.
