Job Description
Day Shift Monday - Friday 5am - 3:30pm Some Saturdays 5am - 11am
Must pass a 3G Test (Mig hot pass, flux fill in cap) Pay depends on experience and test $17 - $22Must pass background check and pre-employment UA. A structural welder fabricates, joins, and repairs metal components—such as beams, columns, and girders—for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure. They interpret blueprints, operate welding equipment (MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, Stick/SMAW), and ensure compliance with safety codes (OSHA, AWS). These professionals often work at heights or in confined spaces, demanding high physical fitness and precision. Key Responsibilities

- Fabrication and Welding: Weld steel parts in various positions (3G, 4G, 6G) to build structural frameworks.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings and structural specifications.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols (PPE) and maintain a clean work area.
- Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for defects using precision tools.
- Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and repair welding tools (torches, torches, arcs).
- Cutting and Preparation: Cut, burn, and grind metal components, including using plasma cutters or torches.
- On-Site Assembly: Assemble and secure metal components for buildings, pipelines, and bridges.
- Certifications: Valid AWS (American Welding Society) or similar certifications (e.g., ASME).
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, manufacturing, or structural steel fabrication.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding processes.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb, and work in precarious positions. #ZR
