Job Summary:
As a CNC Machinist on our weekend shift, you will play a crucial role in the production of our industry-leading products. Utilizing your expertise in operating and programming CNC machinery, you will ensure the efficient and precise manufacturing of components that are essential to our success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and program a variety of CNC machines, including lathes, mills, and other specialized equipment
- Interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and other specifications to ensure accurate part production
- Perform measurements and inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality control standards
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience as a CNC Operator or CNC Programmer
- Proficiency in operating CNC lathes, mills, and other relevant machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and other manufacturing documentation
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training or certifications preferred
Working Conditions:
This position involves working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy materials, and work on their feet for the duration of their shifts. The weekend shift schedule may require some flexibility in terms of work hours.
