Job Description

Program Coordinator – Aerospace ManufacturingPosition SummaryThe Program Coordinator supports the successful execution of aerospace manufacturing programs by assisting Program Managers with scheduling, communication, and administrative coordination. This role ensures accurate flow of information between customers and internal departments, helping maintain on-time delivery, quality compliance, and efficient production in a precision machining environment.Key Responsibilities
  • Support Program Managers in daily coordination of aerospace manufacturing programs
  • Maintain and update program schedules, trackers, and status reports
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for internal teams and assist with customer communications
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities between engineering, production, quality, and supply chain
  • Track order status, production progress, and delivery commitments to ensure on-time performance
  • Assist with contract review documentation, purchase orders, and job travelers
  • Monitor and follow up on open action items, including engineering changes (ECOs) and customer requests
  • Enter and maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting notes for program reviews
  • Support quoting and new job setup activities as needed
  • Assist in identifying potential delays or risks and escalate to Program Manager
  • Ensure documentation is complete and compliant with aerospace quality standards (e.g., AS9100)
Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or project coordination preferred
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes or CNC machining environments is a plus
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
