A leading manufacturer of specialized equipment and systems for the marine industry is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their Controls Division. Our company designs, produces, and distributes innovative boat lifts, docks, and other water-based infrastructure, and we're looking for skilled individuals to help us bring our products to life.
In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly and fabrication of electronic and mechanical components and systems related to the controls and automation aspects of our marine equipment. Your duties will include reading blueprints, using precision measuring tools, and performing general shop work to ensure the quality and functionality of our products.
To be successful in this position, you should have the ability to interpret technical drawings and use basic shop tools. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety are also essential.
This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity, with the potential to transition to a full-time, permanent role. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $17 per hour, and raised to $18 upon transition to a permanent employee.
