Job Description

Position Overviewwe are seeking an experienced, dependable Field Technician to perform skilled field electrical work across residential, service, and light-to-moderate commercial projects.This role requires the ability to work independently, follow written work orders, manage apprentices in the field, and execute electrical work safely, efficiently, and to code.We are building a professional operation with high standards. This position is for electricians who take pride in their craft, respect time and scope, and understand that accountability and professionalism matter.Core Responsibilities
  • Perform skilled field electrical work including:
    • Residential service calls and troubleshooting
    • New construction and remodel rough-in and top-out
    • Panel work, branch circuits, feeders, and device installation
    • Basic commercial installations and upgrades
  • Read and follow work orders, job notes, and written instructions
  • Work independently with minimal supervision
  • Manage and train apprentices on job sites
  • Assign tasks clearly and monitor progress
  • Maintain job pace consistent with labor expectations
  • Ensure all work meets:
    • National Electrical Code, NEC
    • Local AHJ requirements
    • Company workmanship standards
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Communicate job status, issues, and change conditions clearly
  • Accurately track time, materials, and job notes
  • Protect company tools, materials, vehicles, and reputation

Required Qualifications
  • Oklahoma electrical license or transferable license preferred
  • Minimum 3–5 years field experience as a working electrician
  • Strong working knowledge of:
    • NEC
    • Residential and light commercial wiring methods
    • Panels, feeders, grounding, and bonding
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues independently
  • Experience working with and training apprentices
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass drug screening and comply with company safety policies
  • Comfortable using mobile apps for time tracking and job documentation
Preferred Qualifications
  • Service troubleshooting experience
  • New construction experience, rough-in through top-out
  • Familiarity with generators, EV chargers, or specialty systems
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain productivity without supervision
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs
  • Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
  • Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor environments
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and work with tools for extended periods
