Job Description
Summary
The Human Resources Generalist supports day-to-day HR operations within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for supporting employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR programs while ensuring alignment with company policies, labor laws, and export control requirements.
Primary Duties
• Serve as a primary point of contact for employees regarding HR-related questions, policies, and procedures.
• Support recruitment efforts including job postings, resume screening, interview coordination, and onboarding.
• Assist with new hire orientation, I-9 verification, and employment documentation.
• Administer benefits programs including health insurance, 401(k), leaves of absence, and employee status changes.
• Support employee relations by assisting with investigations, coaching, and performance documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FLSA, FMLA, EEO, ADA, etc.).
• Maintain accurate employee records and HRIS data.
• Assist with payroll-related items such as time sheets, PTO tracking, and personnel updates.
• Support training initiatives, policy updates, and employee communications.
• Participate in audits and compliance efforts related to aerospace and export-controlled environments (ITAR/EAR).
• Assist HR leadership with special projects and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Proven experience with confidentiality and discretion
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
