Skilled Trades & Welding
- Structural Welders: Lay out, align, and weld structural steel components for air cooler frames and skids using MIG, Flux-Cored (FCAW), or Stick welding according to blueprints.
- Pipe Fitters: Measure, cut, thread, and fit pipe spools and headers according to isometric drawings and ASME codes; prepare assemblies for the welding team.
- Side Frame Welders: Fit up and weld structural side frame assemblies for heavy industrial heat exchangers, ensuring tight tolerances and square alignments.
- Press Brake Operators: Set up, program, and operate industrial CNC press brakes to bend and form sheet metal and heavy plate according to technical specifications.
- Saw Operators: Operate industrial band saws and cutting equipment to precisely cut steel beams, channels, and pipes to length based on cut sheets.
- Fintube Helpers: Support the finning department by loading tubes, monitoring finning machines, and prepping specialized finned tubing for bundle assembly.
- Hydro Testing Helpers: Assist in sealing headers, filling assemblies with water, monitoring pressure gauges, and checking for leaks to ensure QA compliance.
- Assembly Helpers: Work downstream to assemble the mechanical components of the air coolers, including fans, motors, louvers, and shrouds.
- Fabrication Helpers: General shop support including grinding, material handling, operating overhead cranes, and assisting skilled craftsmen as needed.
- Day Shift: [Insert Hours, e.g., 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM] | Monday – Friday (Plus weekend OT as scheduled)
- Night Shift: [Insert Hours, e.g., 4:30 PM – 3:00 AM] | Monday – Friday (Includes shift differential pay)
- Overtime: Expect 10–20+ hours of overtime per week during peak production cycles.
- Skilled Roles (Welders, Fitters, Operators): 1–3+ years of relevant industrial or structural fabrication experience. Welders must pass a hands-on shop weld test (MIG/FCAW/Stick).
- Helper Roles: Entry-level welcome; mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for 10–12 hours a day, lift up to 50 lbs, and work comfortably in a heavy industrial shop environment.
- Safety: Strict adherence to PPE guidelines (Steel-toed boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, and FR clothing where applicable). Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
