**The Opportunity**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically-minded Assembly Technician to join our production team on a temporary-to-hire basis. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a skilled manufacturing team while demonstrating your capabilities for a potential permanent position. You will play a vital role in assembling high-quality hydraulic equipment that serves critical industrial applications.
What You'll Do
- Perform precise mechanical assembly of hydraulic lifting and hoisting equipment components
- Execute hand and small parts assembly tasks with attention to detail and quality standards
- Operate forklifts to move, stage, and organize materials and finished products
- Maintain accurate inventory control and material management records
- Organize and monitor material flow to ensure efficient production operations
- Follow all safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
- Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and targets
**What We're Looking For**
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated proficiency with hand/small parts assembly techniques
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Experience with inventory control and material management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Reliability and a positive team attitude
**Working Conditions**
This position is based will require inside and outside work in a non climate controlled environment. The role involves standing for extended periods, repetitive hand motions, and the operation of machinery and material handling equipment. You will work in compliance with all OSHA and facility safety standards.
**Compensation**
Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour
