Newton Design is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Receiving Clerk to join our team in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

We are a quality supplier of simulation and training equipment, serving the aviation industry, law enforcement agencies, and military by designing, manufacturing, and delivering simulated aircraft interiors and exteriors for the purpose of training air crew and law enforcement.

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming materials, components, and supplies. This role plays a critical part in maintaining inventory accuracy, documentation control, and efficient material flow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, completeness, and damage
• Verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders
• Accurately enter receipts into the ERP/MRP system in a timely manner
• Label and route materials to appropriate departments or storage locations
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Quality teams to resolve shipment discrepancies
• Maintain an organized receiving area and ensure proper material storage practices
• Assist with physical inventory counts and cycle count activities
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards and operational procedures
• Maintain required documentation supporting ISO/AS9100 compliance requirements
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to support efficient operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1–3 years of receiving, warehouse, or inventory control experience preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment preferred
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and data entry systems
• Forklift experience preferred or willingness to obtain certification
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• All Newton Design facilities are climate controlled
• This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including light-moderate lifting walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, and squatting. This position requires climbing stairs/ladders and working in multiple environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
