Essential Functions & Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Product Manager with receiving and inventory of steel products, including but not limited to: coil, plates, sheets, bars, and tubes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of receiving activities in purchasing system/ERP.
• Work with the logistics department to coordinate the shipment of goods and ensure efficient warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with our team to achieve maximum efficiency for all groups within the organization.
• Work with the truck shop manager to ensure all trucks and trailers are in proper working condition and meet DOT compliance.
• Perform clerical tasks, data entry, answer phone calls, and respond and resolve issues that come up.
• Assist local team with inventory spot checks and cycle counts.
• Regularly check production equipment schedules and communicate with production team if there are changes and/or additions they may not be aware of.
